I am interning at Jewish Family Service of Greater New Haven. The most interesting thing that I have done so far is working with clients who need help and are food insecure. I think something unexpected that I have been able to do is help in the different sectors of the organization and be a part of them all. Something I have learned is seeing how each parts of the organization work together. Being a Sociology major has given me insight into knowing more about current issues that exist in our society and then using what I have learned to help in this organization. I would recommend this experience to other students so that they can learn how organizations like this work and being able to help clients.
