For the second year in a row, Connecticut’s Quinnipiac University has the best overall graduate employment rate in the country at 96.1%. This longer term success supports our immediate “First Destination” success in which between 96-99% of our graduates finding employment or headed to graduate school 6 months after graduation in a typical year.
Reviewers used the US Department of Education’s “College Scorecard” to check employment rate data for all higher education institutions from coast to coast, identified the ones with the highest employment rate in each state, then ranked the 10 best in the country. The College Scorecard determines employment rates of students 10 years after graduation using federal tax return data, providing a good snapshot into the longer term return on investment of a degree.
