Think Like A Recruiter To Prepare For Your Next Interview

One of the best ways to prepare for an interview is to think like a recruiter. Not sure how to do this? One great way is to read what THEY read. For every article you Google seeking advice on how to answer interview questions there is a corollary article teaching hiring managers how to ask better interview questions. Read some of those! You may not be asked all of the specific questions presented in articles like these when you interview, but the value comes in learning how hiring managers THINK when they prepare their interview questions. Every question has a purpose. The quicker you can figure out what that is, the easier it is for you to give them the answer that will help you stand out!

Here’s a great recent example. Again, some of these questions might come your way in an interview but pay attention to the analysis (the “Why this works” section after each question).
