Seasonal Research Assistant Positions

The Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station has two available Seasonal Research Assistant positions. Each position will work on separate but related projects on phosphorus management in plant-soil systems, including the development, characterization and crop evaluation of nanoscale and conventional phosphorus fertilizers. These positions provide excellent opportunity to gain professional experience and learn new skills in the broad areas of nutrient management, nanotechnology implications and applications in agriculture and environment, and plant science. These positions are based in New Haven. These seasonal positions will start as soon as possible as full or part time hours that will run during the fall, winter, and spring.

Regular work hours are between 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a salary of $14.00 per hour. Applicants with a Driver’s License are preferred.

To apply to these positions, please submit a cover letter, a resume describing education and work experience, a copy of school transcripts (unofficial versions are acceptable), and the name and contact information of three referees to Dr. Jason White (Jason.White@ct.gov) and Dr. Christian Dimkpa (Christian.Dimkpa@ct.gov).
