Solar Youth is a New Haven based non-profit, youth development and environmental education organization. Our mission is to empower youth from New Haven’s low income neighborhoods to achieve lifelong success – and nothing less! We are currently hiring for our two summer programs: West Rock Summer Camp and Green Jobs Youth Development Program for teens.

Green Jobs Youth Development Coordinator
We are looking for someone with a passion for youth development who has the skills and personality to effectively serve young people facing major life challenges. You will recruit and train teen interns, providing them with opportunities for outdoor leadership, hands-on environmental education, job skills, personal development and goal setting. Green Jobs staff must be creative problem solvers, see a setback as a challenge, and love working with teenagers.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic about creating and leading activities aligned with our SY mission and programmatic themes, goals, and outcomes.
We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic Lead Executive Assistant with experience in administration and providing support to executive leaders. This administrative leader will help streamline and amplify Solar Youth’s work on all levels, primarily supporting the Executive Director and the organization with day-to-day operations.
