To be inducted into Sigma Delta Pi a student must:
- Be at least a junior
- Have a minimum 3.2 overall GPA by the end of the Fall 2024 semester
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.2 in all Spanish courses taken by the end of the Fall 2024 semester
- Have completed at least 18 credits in Spanish by the end of the Fall 2024 semester, including a course in SP literature or culture at the 300 level
