The Silver Scholars Stamford Health Program is a NEW pilot program exclusively for QU students to provide pre-med and pre-PA college students interested in a career in medicine with direct exposure to the profession through a paid, four to six-week shadowing program. Students will rotate through various medical specialties at Stamford Health including both primary care and internal medicine subspecialties, as well as procedural fields such as general surgery and interventional radiology. Students will shadow physician preceptors 2-3 days per week, rotating specialties weekly.
Students will be selected based on financial need, academic achievement, relevance to personal academic, and career goals, and strength of personal statement. Students will receive a $3,000 stipend for participating in the internship program.
