IDEAL Program at Fordham Law School

IDEAL is a free program for college students interested in becoming a lawyer.The IDEAL Program is committed to fostering an environment of inclusivity and belonging by guiding participants toward successful admission to law school and preparing them for the demands of legal education. IDEAL exposes promising students to a rich and dynamic educational curriculum, starting with opportunities to learn about the law school experience and the legal profession and culminating with LSAT prep and law school admissions support. Through comprehensive programming, we aim to bridge opportunity gaps, cultivate a passion for justice, and empower students to become influential leaders and advocates in their communities and beyond.The program is structured as a two-summer initiative, beginning with Summer I and ending after sophomore year with an introduction to law school and the legal profession. It continues with a second summer following junior year, including LSAT prep and law school admissions support.
