This effort is coordinated by the Creative Writing Program Director and is supported by CAS. It is designed to foster professional development among students interested in Creative Writing. The AWP Conference is the premiere national conference in the field of Creative Writing, and the students who attend are able to see how a literary organization functions, and to meet writers, editors, and program directors from all over the country. Several QU student attendees have also opted to work as interns at the Brooklyn Poets booth at AWP’s Book Fair, a showcase of hundreds of exhibitors.
