Deadline for Applications: Oct. 30.
Requires Faculty Recommendations – plan early!
More info, and application, at: https://www.cga.ct.gov/isc/future.asp
Application deadline is OCTOBER 30. For students in ANY major. Sophomores, Junior and Seniors. This is an ideal internship for any student wanting to learn about policy making and the lawmaking process. Interns go through a screening process at the State Capitol and will know if they are accepted, in early December. Intern training takes place in January. The Internship runs until May.
Students must be available for two full days per week, minimum. It replaces two regular QU courses in your schedule and so you have to set up your course schedule on campus accordingly (credit overloads not allowed in the program). 2.7 GPA is required for QU students.
Students can earn 6 credits, in political science by default (PO 395), but it can count toward any other major, if your major department allows.
