Job Title: Senior Architect
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our client to understand their vision, brand identity, and budget for the retail space.
- Develop initial design concepts, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models, considering factors such as customer flow, product display, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications that meet building codes and zoning regulations.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, and equipment that are aesthetically pleasing, durable, and cost-effective.
- Work with engineers, contractors, and other specialists to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to code.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any concerns or deviations from the design.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate design concepts and progress to our team and client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
- Licensed architect in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail design or architecture.
- Strong understanding of building codes and zoning regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Creativity and a strong sense of design aesthetics.
- Understanding of retail marketing principles and consumer behavior (preferred).
- Fluent both on Spanish and English
