About Gray Television:

Gray Television is a leading media company that owns and operates high-quality stations in 113 television markets reaching 36 percent of US television households.

We constantly strive for excellence. By upgrading to the latest technology and seeking new ways to stay on top in our markets, we focus on training and developing the best and brightest employees in the business.

About KMVT:

KMVT is Southern Idaho’s premier television station serving the Magic Valley from its headquarters in Twin Falls. Established in 1955 as KLIX-TV, the station was renamed KMVT in 1963, with “MVT” standing for “Magic Valley Television” – reflecting the region it proudly serves.

As a Gray Media property, KMVT delivers content across three distinct networks:

Channel 11.1: CBS affiliate providing trusted national programming and local news as “KMVT 11”

Channel 11.2: The CW Plus offering popular entertainment as “Southern Idaho CW”

Channel 11.3: Fox programming through sister station KSVT, complemented by MyNetworkTV content

A trailblazer in Idaho broadcasting, KMVT made history in 1965 as the first television station in the state to broadcast local programs in color. Throughout seven decades, the station has maintained its commitment to the Magic Valley community with comprehensive local news coverage through its “Idaho’s First News” broadcasts.

As KMVT celebrates 70 years of broadcasting excellence in 2025, it continues its legacy of connecting viewers across Southern Idaho with vital information, entertainment, and community service – solidifying its position as a cornerstone media institution in the region.

The Internship Program:

As a paid intern, you will have an immersive experience where you serve as a valued team member and learn the fundamentals of sales and marketing. You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at how a dominant local news outlet operates.

Interns will build and develop their new business hunting and entry strategy techniques. You’ll also get out into the community with your teammates and managers to meet with business owners and marketing executives. You’ll learn how to build a cohesive marketing solution using the strength of video and the data supporting digital advertising.

Not only will you walk away with an expanded resume and portfolio, but Gray’s paid internship opens doors to begin your full-time career with Gray Television. Many of our current employees started as interns. Our paid internship program puts you at the front of the line for full-time job openings, armed with the training you received from your internship.

We’re committed to a broad applicant recruiting outreach program in our continuing efforts to represent our diverse community.

Qualifications/Requirements:

▪️ You must be currently enrolled in a college/university. Senior Year Preferred.

▪️ Strong work ethic, and organization skills
