    • Search for Remote Work

Remote work is here to stay in some form. Many of you will at least begin your careers in a remote or hybrid environment. In addition to traditional in-person positions that are temporarily remote, there are a number of tools to find jobs that have always been offered remotely. Even if it is only a temporary solution for you, consider remote work as a way to keep your skills sharp and earn some money as you continue your search.

Here are some sites to consider:

      Weworkremotely.com
      Flexjobs.com
      Remote.co/remote-jobs
      Justremote.co
      Virtualvocations.com
      Remoteok.io
      Pangian.com
      Jobspresso.co
      Remotive.io
      Powertofly.com (women in tech)
      Angel.co
      Skipthedrive.com

    • Think About Freelance Work
Similar to the options for remote work, you may want to consider freelance work. This is a way to build market-tested skills and enhance the portfolio of work you have to share with employers. Check out our resources.
    • Consider Micro-Internships
Micro-internships are short-term projects for organizations, many of which can be completed virtually. These are great opportunities to gain experience, earn money, and build connections with employers that may lead to full-time employment. Check them out!
    • Build Your Skills

If you find yourself missing some technical or professional skills that might help you to gain employment, try to find some time to work on this as well. Many skill building options are self-paced and several are low or no cost.
