Introductory Biology Course Sequences

BIO 101/L and BIO 102/L is a two-semester introduction to the biological sciences that is primarily intended for students in bachelor’s degrees in applied fields, including health sciences and engineering. It is also appropriate for students majoring outside the natural sciences who are fulfilling the requirements for advanced degrees in the pre-health professions.

Bio150/L and Bio151/L is a two-semester introduction to the biological sciences that is intended for natural science majors, including Biology, Biochemistry, Behavioral Neuroscience, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, and Microbiology and Immunology.

Bio152/L is the third course of the BIO 150 series. It is required of all biology majors, but is open to any student who has completed BIO 150/L and BIO 151/L.
