Student Accessibility & Accommodations

If you have (or think you may have) a disability, you can contact the Office of Student Accessibility to request accommodations and to learn more about available supports. Faculty welcome conversations with students about how they can best support your learning. Disability can come in many forms and include temporary or permanent medical, physical, and mental health challenges- some examples can be seen here. If you wish to apply for accommodations, you can begin the process by completing the form located at this link. You will work with an Accessibility Coordinator to ensure you have access to Quinnipiac University programs and services. The Office of Student Accessibility has two locations: Mount Carmel Campus-Arnold Bernhard Library North Wing and North Haven Campus- SLE 340. With any questions, please contact the Office of Student Accessibility by phone 203-582-7600 or email access@quinnnipiac.edu. Quinnipiac University complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.If you have already been approved for accommodations through the Office of Student Accessibility, you can share the accommodations with your instructors through the Accommodate portal. After sharing your accommodation letter, please know that instructors wish to discuss accommodations and to develop an implementation plan with you.
