ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton is looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our team for the summer of 2023. This position reports directly to the Director of Sustainability and will also interact and work closely with the Director, ESG and VP, ESG. The Sustainability Intern will be responsible for supporting the advancement of Peloton’s sustainability priorities, focusing on carbon footprint data management, carbon reporting, as well as Peloton’s CDP submission. This is a full time, paid internship for 10-12 weeks starting in June based out of Peloton’s New York headquarters.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Carbon data aggregation & analysis: Lead coordination and process for the collection, analysis, and standardization of carbon data across Peloton’s scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions in support of FY23 carbon accounting
- Climate-related reporting/disclosures: Support activities related to Peloton’s climate risk and opportunity assessment and CDP climate change response
- Carbon Strategy: Inform the ongoing development of Peloton’s carbon and sustainability strategy, leveraging the carbon data analysis to support the strategy
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business or Environmental Sustainability / sustainability-related field
- Prior sustainability-related experience and / or project work required; experience in carbon footprinting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with different functions across Peloton
- Ability to work independently and be proactive in a dynamic environment
- Innovative thinker, bringing new ideas to the table
- Strong quantitative skills with ability to efficiently manage large quantities of data
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
Base Salary: $57/ Hr
The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
