When you think of careers in education do you think of being a classroom teacher? While classroom teaching is a very common path the education industry has opportunities well beyond the classroom. Whether you are looking at roles in academic administration, roles in instructional design in a corporate environment, roles as a professional trainer, or in curriculum design for an edtech startup, you can take a career in education in a number of interesting directions!

  Classroom teaching roles (at any level) will require additional education. If you are interested in that path you’ll likely want to study in the subject you are most interested in teaching, or look at our interdisciplinary studies major. For roles outside the classroom, you may also want to look at advanced education related to your goal such as some of our accelerated dual-degree programs in areas like business or communications.
