The School of Nursing is accepting applications for our August-start accelerated nursing program. This program is one very full calendar year whereby students with a bachelor’s degree in any other discipline can achieve a baccalaureate of nursing degree and sit for the registered nurse NCLEX-RN © licensure exam. Our deadline is extended to March 31st. Admission requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree: Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university (achieved by August 28, 2023).
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (B)
- Completion of prerequisite course work: All prerequisite courses must be taken within the last 5 years with a grade of B- or better and must be completed prior to entering the accelerated track.
- Microbiology with a lab (4 credits total)
- Anatomy & Physiology I with a lab (4 credits total)
- Anatomy & Physiology II with a lab (4 credits total)
