BIO 491, 492, 493 and 494 are independent research courses in which students earn course credit for projects with a Biology department faculty member in their research laboratory. It is offered in the fall and spring semesters.
- Attend an Experiential Learning Info Session (see current schedule)
- Talk to Dr. McGinnis, the Experiential Learning committee, your advisor and/or research faculty
- Use your networking skills to find a project mentor
- Submit your proposal for BIO 491-494 by August 15th for the Fall semester, Jan 15th for the Spring semester or by May 1st for the Summer semesters.
- For BIO 491-494, submit the Independent Study in Biology form to Courtney McGinnis (courtney.mcginnis@qu.edu)
