LSAC Prelaw Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Programs

Location: United States

As part of LSAC’s Prelaw Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Program, we partner with member law schools to provide selected students with a unique immersive learning experience designed to prepare them for law school success.

The LSAC PLUS Program is aimed at undergraduate students and prospective law school applicants one year away from applying who are from minoritized groups that are underrepresented in the legal profession. Host law schools are currently accepting applications for their 2023 programs. There is no cost to apply or to attend the program if selected.

We encourage you to share this news with your students and invite you to learn more about the PLUS Program and this year’s host law schools.

For more information, students can attend a webinar on Tuesday, February 28, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET, which will provide program details as well as insights from a panel of PLUS alumni. Students can register for the webinar via their LawHub account.

The PLUS Program will help participants explore their interest in law, understand the skills needed to succeed in law school, gain insights into the legal profession and future career options, and learn more about navigating the law school admission process. Participants will also build confidence and community through supportive networking and mentoring relationships with diverse legal professionals, faculty, and peers as they immerse in a program that acknowledges and addresses the challenges faced by minoritized students on the path to law school and the legal profession.
