Community Internship Program – Seminar Topics

Students earn college credit for their internship through a three-credit course cross-listed in Sociology (SO 392), Criminal Justice (CJ 392), Gerontology (GT 392), and Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS 392).

In addition to working at a community-based organization, students attend a weekly seminar to reflect on their experiences, provide mutual support, and discuss the following career-related topics:
