Pre-Medical Designation Form (AY2020-21)

The Pre-Medical Studies Designation (“Pre-Med Designation”) is designed for students who are interested in pursuing doctoral degrees in medicine and healthcare such as MD, DO, PharmD, OD, DPM, DPT, or DVM (not intended for students enrolled in QU’s entry-level professional track programs such as PA or OT). The Pre-Med Designation is not a stand-alone program and is completed in addition to the undergraduate degree and major. The Pre-Med Designation allows students to enroll in and track typical medical or professional school course requirements. While the Pre-Med Designation will cover most standard pre-requisite courses, requirements vary by program type and school. Designation enrollees are responsible for checking professional school requirements well in advance of the application process to determine if additional coursework is needed.
